Clutch Gamers make follow-up roster change.

Days after registering a new roster, the organization makes another change to its lineup.

Southeast Asian organization Clutch Gamers has made yet another roster change, just a few days after a near complete change to its lineup. The team announced another move today, as Support player and team captain Kenneth “Flysolo” Coloma would be leaving the team and is being replaced by Russian player Vladimir “yol” Basov.

Flysolo’s departure brings to an end the player’s second stint with the SEA organization, having played for the team up to this point this season in addition to an earlier iteration of the lineup from late 2016 to August of 2017. Flysolo becomes a free agent within the SEA region, but that status may not stick around for long, as Flysolo was seen recently playing in the DAC 2018 Open Qualifier for the SEA region. His squad, TaskUs Titans, won one of the two Open Qualifier slots and will be competing in the closed regional qualifier beginning on the 6th.

Yol comes to Clutch Gamers following a somewhat rough start to the season in the European and CIS regions. He began the season as a member of the Elements Pro Gaming squad, but departed following the disbanding of the roster. Since then, he had spent time as a stand-in for PENTA Sports and has made a couple of runs through CIS Open Qualifiers as well.

For Clutch Gamers, this latest move complete a full change from the roster that it began the season with. The roster move also calls into question exactly where the squad will be competing in the future. Clutch Gamers has been within the Southeast Asian region since its inception, but the current roster does not contain any players from that region. Unless the new roster takes up residency within the region on a long term basis, the squad may be required to compete in a different region. Wherever the team ends up playing, the hope for the organization is that this new lineup will allow it to find more success this season and potentially breakout onto the Pro Circuit scene.

The roster of Clutch Gamers following the latest move:

  • Vladimir “Chappie” Kuzmenko (Carry)
  • Anas “MagE-” Hirzallah (Mid)
  • Kharis “SkyLark” Zafeiriou (Offlane)
  • Mohammad “AfrOmoush” Khalil Ibrahim Abu Al Eis (Support)
  • Vladimir “yol” Basov (Support)
