The CIS squad has released its lineup following a rough start to the season.
On a day when the CIS region is making headlines across the board, M19 has jumped in with roster news of its own, though it isn’t quite as cheerful as some of the others. The organization announced that it is releasing its lineup, making its four remaining members free agents within the region. The move comes in the wake of a series of poor performances from the squad within the CIS region. The team has participated in nine Pro Circuit qualifiers so far this season, finishing within the lower half of the standings in all but one of them (3rd-4th ESL One Hamburg CIS Qualifier). With the team not appearing to be taking any significant steps forward in its search for regional success, the team opted to cut its losses and disband. For the team’s now former players, there is still some time left to either form or join another squad prior to the roster lock, but the newly made free agents will have to be relatively quick. As for the organization itself, we’ll see if M19 announce a new roster in the coming days are attempts to pick up a new lineup at some point this season.
The former lineup of M19:
- Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko (Mid)
- Gleb “Funn1k” Lipatnikov (Offlane)
- Albert “Aoharide” Garayev (Support)
- Nikolay “Muriel” Baykov (Support) (Captain)
