The SEA organization appears to be moving in a new direction with four new players on the roster.
Earlier today, Southeast Asian squad Happy Feet saw two of its players leave the organization, as Julius “Julz” De Leon and Augustus “xRag” John Casanda both moved on to other teams within the region. Having lost three of its five players in the span of a week, the organization opted to rebuild with a nearly entirely new roster. Happy Feet has registered a new roster with Valve, removing Rafael “Rapy” Sicat Palo from the lineup in order to add James Irvin “Ji” de Guzman, Jerusalem “Popo” Avanzado, Sidney “neysidney” Ledesma, and Josef Leonard “JL” Brazal.
At this point, I would give some basic information regarding the new additions to the team. Unfortunately, there is very little information available about Happy Feet’s new roster and players. The positions of the new additions are not fully known at this time either, and the team itself has not made any official announcement or statement other than its registration of the lineup. All that is known right now is that Jessie “JessieVash” Cuyco will remain on the roster, and that should be retaining his position as a support player and the team’s captain. We won’t even have the chance to see the new Happy Feet squad in action in the near future, as the team pulled out of the DAC 2018 SEA Qualifier that is set to begin tomorrow. The changes for Happy Feet are drastic and somewhat mysterious at this stage, but hopefully the new squad will be able to show us its potential soon and compete within the Southeast Asian region.
The lineup of Happy Feet:
- James Irvin “Ji” de Guzman
- Jerusalem “Popo” Avanzado
- Sidney “neysidney” Ledesma
