Teehee returns to Geek Fam

After losing two players in as many days, SEA squad Geek Fam adds an experienced carry to its rebuilding roster.

Another day, another post about Geek Fam’s roster changes. The Southeast Asian organization has been in the news quite a bit over the course of the past few days, as the team has staggered its announcement of various player departures and roster moves. The team adds to what is becoming quite the list of roster moves today, with the announcement that John Linuel “Teehee” Abanto will be joining the roster as its new carry in his second stint with the organization.

As previously mentioned, Teehee will be making his second run with Geek Fam in his career, as the Filipino carry was a member of the team’s roster from November of 2016 through September of 2017. He has spent the season to this point as a member of the Entity Gaming roster, though that squad failed to find significant results in its region and disbanded near the end of January. Prior to that, Teehee had multiple runs with TNC Pro Team in 2015 and 2016, and a rather short period of just over a month with Rave. Teehee’s career may not be as long as some of the veterans of the SEA region, but he brings a level of experience both within Southeast Asia and internationally that the Geek Fam organization is likely to covet very highly. With him in the lineup, the team will look to revitalize its season and make a move to better position itself within the regional hierarchy, but it will have to complete its roster first. The addition of Teehee is a good start, but the Geek Fam lineup still only contains four players. Expect even more roster news from the organization in the near future.

The roster of Geek Fam following the addition of Teehee:

  • John Linuel “Teehee” Abanto (Carry)
  • Kee “Chyuan” Chyuan  Ng (Mid)
  • Thiay “March” Jun Wen (Offlane)
  • Chan “Oli” Chon Kien (Support)
