The CIS veterean has established a new squad called Odium to compete on the Pro Circuit this season.
Ever since Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk was traded from Virtus.pro to Na’Vi back in February, there were doubts as to whether or not he would remain with the organization for another season. With the team’s performance being less than ideal and the organization still making roster adjustments late into the season, it was believed by many that Lil would be seeking new opportunities once the offseason hit. When Na’Vi announced its new roster yesterday and Lil was not a part of it, those suspicions were confirmed, and today the support player has revealed his plans for the upcoming season. Lil will be forming his own team within the CIS region, named Odium, and already has 1 other player set to join the roster. In addition to LIl, who will presumably be playing the support role and serving as the team’s captain, offlaner Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk has been announced as a member of Odium as well. With just 2 players on its roster for now, there’s no way to really get a true sense of where this team stacks up within the CIS region, and we’ll have to wait to see who else Lil can recruit to join his new squad. Considering how many free agents are available in the CIS region at the moment though, there will be quite a large pool of talent for Lil and Odium to pull from as it look to complete its roster before the September 15 registration deadline.
The roster of Odium:
Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk (Offlane)
Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk (Support, Captain)
