After multiple players announced departures from the lineup, Immortals has confirmed that it has no further players under contract.
North American squad Immortals has been in the news quite often this offseason, as the organization has seen 3 members of its lineup part ways with the team over the past week. Today, the organization has announced the final stage of its roster departments, as it revealed that it has opted not to extend the contracts of any of its Dota 2 players. For the 3 players that had already announced plans to leave the team, this development doesn’t mean much. However, the announcement does mean that Immortals will be releasing the remaining members of its lineup to free agency. With this move, Pyo “MP” No-a and Kim “Febby” Yong-min join their former teammates as free agents in the Dota 2 scene.
While Kim “Velo” Tae-Sung has already been announced as a new member of the Entity Gaming lineup, there have been no official moves from any of the other now former members of Immortals. With 3 of the team’s former players being from South Korea, there is a strong possibility that 1 or more of them opts to return to the Southeast Asian region and join one of the squads there as opposed to remaining in North America for the upcoming season. As for Immortals itself, the organization’s announcement made no mention of a new roster or any plans to remain in the Dota 2 scene. We shall see if the Immortals name will reemerge in North America with a new squad, or if the organization decides to pass on fielding a roster for the 2018-2019 season.
The former roster of Immortals:

Eric “Ryoya” Dong (Mid)
