The roster is now filled out for the CIS squad as it prepares for the new Pro Circuit season.
Just a few days after the organization announced the majority of its new Dota 2 roster, Na’Vi has revealed the final members of its lineup for the 2018-2019 Pro Circuit season. Evgeniy “Chuvash” Makarov will be the final member of the Na’Vi roster, taking the final support position in the lineup. Also joining the team will be CIS veteran Andrey “Mag” Chipenko, will be serving as the new coach for Na’Vi this season.
Chuvash comes to Na’Vi off the back of a 3 month long stint with Team Empire, and was a part of the team’s 5th-8th place run in the TI8 CIS Qualifier. Prior to joining Team Empire, he had spent the first section of the Pro Circuit season as a member of Spartak Esports until its disbandment in November of 2017. Though the support player has only been playing professional for a little over 2 years, the Na’Vi organization appears to have high hopes and confidence in his play moving forward. As for Mag, the veteran player will provide an experienced voice one the sidelines and behind the scenes for the squad this season. This position with Na’Vi will be his first foray into the coaching world, as Mag spent the last Pro Circuit season moving between the lineups of Effect, Planet Dog, Double Dimension, and MEGA-LADA E-sports. Hopefully, his extensive level of experience at a high level in the CIS region and the international level as a whole will be a helpful guiding force for Na’Vi as it looks to reclaim a place near the top of the regional hierarchy this season.
