A new squad will be taking the field in the NA region, though it has yet to find an official organization.
With so many organizations announcing roster changes and player departures, it seemed only natural that a slew of new teams would begin popping up as the roster registration deadline grew closer. Today, one of those new teams has been announced in the North American region, as the roster of Team Team has been revealed. In a tweet posted this morning, the manager of Team Team revealed the roster for the new squad. Former SG e-sports carry Guilherme Silva “Costabile” Costábile and former Immotrals midlaner Eric “Ryoya” Dong will be joined be a trio of veteran U.S. players in Braxton “Brax” Paulson, Jason “Newsham” Newsham, and Michael “ixmike88” Ghannam.
As of right now, Team Team is not tied to any organization within the North American region, though that could change as the start of the season draws closer and closer. Whether the squad has an organization or not, it stands to pose something of a challenge within the North American region this season. While Brax and ixmike88 have been out of the professional scene for nearly a year now, they bring quite a bit of experience to this lineup and shouldn’t have too many difficulties getting back into the swing of playing professional matches again. With experience and talent on the roster, Team Team is a squad that could be positioned to be a factor in the regional scene this season.
