A squad of Chinese veterans and young talent have banded together to compete in the upcoming Pro Circuit season.
The roster shuffle rolls on in the Chinese region, as one of the first new teams to be formed in the region has revealed its roster for the 2018-2019 season. The squad known as DeathBringer Gaming brings in players from 4 different squads to make a new lineup that will hopefully be able to challenge the established powers in China. Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng comes over from the roster of Vici Gaming, Xu “Hym” Zhi and Hu “Guvara” Sen will be moving from EHOME, Liu “Freeze” Chang is transferring from VGJ.Thunder, and Yang “Ms” Yongjie comes to the team from the lineup of Keen Gaming.Luminous.
With a completely new roster, it is hard to tell where this DeathBringer Gaming lineup should fall in terms of the hierarchy within the Chinese region. The rosters of many of the other organizations in the region are still in flux, but for now this new squad appears to have a solid mix of veteran experience and young talent. From the sources we’ve seen so far, there are still a few positional questions that need to be answered, but regardless of what position its players are in, DeathBringer Gaming has the potential to have an impact on the Chinese region this season. Just how big that impact is remains to be seen, but DeathBringer Gaming will certainly be an interesting team to watch this season even if it can’t manage to go toe-to-toe with the heavy hitters in China.
