Forward Gaming announces signing of ex-VGJ.Storm roster

The North American organization makes its debut in the esports world with the signing of the lineup.

Earlier in the offseaon period, the roster of VGJ.Storm made a big announcement in preparation for the new Pro Circuit season. The team revealed that it was leaving the Team VGJ organization, and that former Fnatic player Saahil “UNiVeRsE” Arora and coach Kurtis “Aui_2000” Ling would be joining the lineup. At the time of this announcement, the team had stated that it did not have a new organization lined up for the upcoming season, and that it was looking for one to partner with for the foreseeable future. Today, the team has announced that it has been signed by Forward Gaming, a newly formed esports organization in the North American region. The team’s roster will not be undergoing any changes with its transition to the Forward Gaming name.

This announcement really comes as more of a formality than anything else, as the team’s roster had previously been revealed and its intentions to continue competing together on the Pro Circuit was already known. The newly christened Forward Gaming squad will see its first official Pro Circuit action in a matter of days, as the squad was directly invited to The Kuala Lumpur North America Qualifier set begin on September 19.
