A quartet of roster transfers and a free agent pickup births a new challenger in the European region.
In the wake of the first round of Pro Circuit qualifier this season, many in the Dota 2 world were expecting to see a some continued roster shuffling as teams looked to make adjustments to their lineups. We had already seen some changes in the Chinese, CIS, and North American region within the past week or so, as squads like Newbee, Odium, and J.Storm (formerly VGJ.Storm) made moves. Now though, the shuffle appears to have made its way to the European region, as the formation of a new squad has been announced in the form of WU TANG.
Though the team may be new to the regional scene, its players are not, as the newly formed lineup of WU TANG will be taking players from some of the other squads in the region. Support and team captain Angel “Flash” Niamtu and Offlaner Pittner “bOne7” Armand will be moving from MangoBay to join WU TANG, while Support Dmitry “UnderShock” Bolshakov and Midlaner Ivaylo “Mastermind” Petkov will be coming over from the roster of Burden United. Rounding out the lineup will be free agent Charlie “Charlie” Arat, who most recently played in the European region on the roster of Kingdra.
The roster of WU TANG:
Charlie “Charlie” Arat (Carry)
Ivaylo “Mastermind” Petkov (Mid)
Pittner “bOne7” Armand (Offlane)
Dmitry “UnderShock” Bolshakov (Support)
Angel “Flash” Niamtu (Support, Captain)
Moon “MoonLim” Lim (Manager)
