The recently formed CIS squad is running low on active players as Ghostik departs from Odium
Just 1 month on from the official announcement of Odium’s formation back in the beginning of September, and the squad already appears to be in a somewhat dire situation within the CIS region. The squad first series of Pro Circuit qualifiers were not quite as strong as the team may have been expecting, and it appears now that Odium will have to effectively reinvent itself moving forward through the rest of this season. In the after math of both Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey and Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini leaving the team several days ago, Odium has announced that a third player will be leaving the team’s lineup. Offlaner Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk will be making his exit from the roster of Odium, leaving the team with just 2 players on its official roster.
As of right now, there are no known plans for Odium in the near future regarding any potential roster additions. The team did just complete a 5th-6th place run in the Reshuffle Madness tournament in which it played using a duo of stand-ins (Ghostik was still with the team during this event), but it is not clear if either of those stand-ins will actually be added as fully time roster members. With 3 roster vacancies to fill following Ghostik’s departure, this Odium roster has the potential to look dramatically different in the coming days, and we will eagerly anticipate seeing how Odium recovers from these early season struggles both in and out of game.
The roster of Odium following the departure of Ghostik:
Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk (Support, Captain)
Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya (Support)
