The CIS organization returns to the Pro Circuit after signing the Major bound squad ferzee
CIS squad ferzee made quite an impression to begin its Pro Circuit campaign, as the unsponsered, rag-tag team of regional veterans beat out a host of CIS rivals to claim 1 of the region’s 2 spots at The Kuala Lumpur Major. A few weeks later, the squad followed up that performance with a 2nd place run at the third party Reshuffle Madness tournament, once again topping regional rivals like Na’Vi, Odium, Team Empire, and Team Spirit in the process. With those performances, ferzee emerged as a potential leading squad within the CIS region, and that status was noticed by organizations in the region. Today, Gambit Esports announced that it will be signing the entirety of the ferzee lineup, marking the organization’s return to the Dota 2 world following the disbanding of its roster back in June.
For the new roster of Gambit Esports, very little should change in terms of its in-game performance, as there will be no changes to its roster as part of its transition to the Gambit Esports name. As for the organization itself, its acquisition of the ferzee lineup and its spot at The Kuala Lumpur Major sets it up for its first ever appearance at a Pro Circuit event. The former ferzee lineup was already active at the time of its signing, and the squad will continue to play in the GG.Bet Invitational Season 1 under its new name as it looks to advance out of the event’s Group Stage and find some initial success with its new organization.
