The Belarusian organization takes its first steps into the Dota 2 world as it unveils its new lineup
A new team has formed within the CIS region recently, as Pavaga Gaming officically unveiled its new roster to compete in The Chongqing Major Open Qualifiers. The majority of the team’s roster is made up of players from the now disbanded FCDB Esports, as Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko, Yevgeny “chshrct” Kostroma, and Alexei “j4” Lipai were all announced as members of the newly formed team. Rounding out the squad’s roster are former Vega Squadron Carry Nikita “Palantimos” Grinkevich and free agent and former Gambit Esports member Danil “Bignum” Shehovtsov.
Unfortunately for the new team, it fell just short of the mark for success in its most recent trial as a team, as Pavaga Gaming was knocked out of the first Open Qualifier for the Major in the Round of 16. However, the squad will have another opportunity to prove itself and make a strong first impression in its home region when the second Open Qualifier rolls around a few days from now.
The roster of Pavaga Gaming:
Nikita “Palantimos” Grinkevich (Carry)
Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko (Mid)
Yevgeny “chshrct” Kostroma (Offlane)
Danil “Bignum” Shehovtsov (Support)
Alexei “j4” Lipai (Support)
