SG e-sports return to Dota 2 world with new roster

After 2 months on the sidelines, the Brazilian organization is back with a new squad to compete in the South American region

When SG e-sports released its roster back in September, the South American region suddenly lost what had been one of its leading teams and organizations, creating a power vacuum that teams like Infamous, paiN Gaming, and Thunder Predator were quick to exploit. After 2 months though, the SG e-sports organization has announced its return to the Dota 2 world with the unveiling of a new roster. The organization is essentially starting from scratch with its new lineup, taking a quintet of lesser known players from its home region under its banner in the hopes of building up another powerhouse squad in South America. The team’s new roster is in for a tough challenge right off the bat, as the team is set to see its first competition as SG e-sports in The Chongqing Major South American Open Qualifier today. We will see how this new iteration of the team fares in its trial by fire against its regional rivals.

The roster of SG e-sports:

Vailios “Golem” Mavrommatis (Carry)
Pedro “mini-‘” Rezende (Mid)
Diego “Sexyfat” Barine (Offlane)
