Ana Announces Hiatus From Professional Dota

European squad OG will be without one of its key pieces as it begins the defense of its TI8 title.

Big news has arrived from the European region today, as TI8 Winner OG has announced a change to the roster that claimed the Aegis of Champions in Vancouver last August. The team has revealed that Carry/Midlaner Anathan “ana” Pham will be taking an extended break from Dota 2, and will shift out of the team’s active roster and into an inactive role as the team’s official substitute. In the team’s announcement, OG stated that it will be revealing its stand-in for the upcoming Chongqing Major Europe Qualifier soon, but no word has been given regarding a more long-term addition to the lineup to fill the gap left by ana’s hiatus.

The roster of OG following ana’s break from Dota 2:

Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen (Carry/Mid)
Sébastien “7ckngMad” Debs (Offlane)
Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka (Support)
Johan “N0tail” Sundstein (Support, Captain)
Anathan “ana” Pham (Substitute)
Cristian “ppasarel” Bănăseanu (Coach)
Evany “the_evany” Chang (Manager)
