The Swedish veteran joins the TI8 Champion and will fill the void left by ana’s hiatus.
After the announcement that OG Carr/Midlaner Anathan “ana” Pham was to take an extended hiatus from professional Dota 2, the community watched and waited to see who would be brought in to fill one of the most high profile roster vacancies of the season. Stepping into a TI winning roster is certainly no easy task, and it was unclear whether OG would attempt to pick up a talented but less experienced player like it did with Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen, or attempt to acquire a potentially more stable, veteran presence for the lineup. As it turns out, the organization went with the latter mindset, as OG announced that 5 time TI attendee and former OpTic Gaming member Per Anders Olsson “Pajkatt” Lille would be the newest member of the team’s roster. Pajkatt is set to occupy the same hybrid Carry/Midlaner role that ana held with the squad, with both himself and the rest of the OG lineup set to be immediately tested with an appearance in The Chongqing Major Europe Qualifier tomorrow.
The OG roster following the addition of Pajkatt:
Per Anders Olsson “Pajkatt” Lille (Carry/Mid)
Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen (Carry/Mid)
Sébastien “7ckngMad” Debs (Offlane)
Jesse “JerAx” Vainikka (Support)
Johan “N0tail” Sundstein (Support, Captain)
Anathan “ana” Pham (Substitute)
Cristian “ppasarel” Bănăseanu (Coach)
Evany “the_evany” Chang (Manager)
