In the wake of middling results following the team’s season debut on the Pro Circuit, the European organization is looking to make a change.
While the action continues at The Chongqing Major, the rest of the Dota 2 world continues making preparations for the next set of Pro Circuit events, with Vega Squadron becoming the latest team to make changes to its roster in 2019. Today, the organization announced that it will be removing Midlaner Anas “MagE-“ Hirzallah from its lineup, marking the first change to the team’s roster since its signing of the original Team Lithium lineup back in October of 2018. With this move, MagE- enters the free agent market within the European region, and will be in search of a new team to continue competing on the Pro Circuit. As for Vega Squadron, the organization’s announcement also stated that a replacement for MagE- would be announced before the start of the DreamLeague Season 11 Major Open Qualifiers. With said open qualifiers just a few days away (Jan. 24), expect to hear more from Vega Squadron in the coming days.
