Winstrike Team unveil new roster

Sweeping changes have come to the lineup of the CIS squad as Winstrike Team looks to return to prominence within its home region.

Today was apparently roster change day in the CIS region, as multiple squads announced changes to their lineups today in anticipation of the beginning of the next round of Pro Circuit qualifiers at the end of the month. Winstrike Team found itself included among those making changes, as the organization introduced a radically different roster than the one we’ve seen so far this season. Midlaner Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko, Supports Danial “yamich” Lazebny and Mihail “Misha” Agatov, and Coach Ivan “Artstyle” Antonov were all removed from the team’s roster. In their place, the organization introduced new members Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin, Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara, and Dino “dnz” Šavuk.

Winstrike Team has not been much of a force within the CIS region so far this season, as the squad had put together solid, but inconsistent performances across various regional events and qualifiers to this point in its 2018-2019 campaign. The hope at this stage is that the team’s near complete overhaul of its lineup will be enough for Winstrike Team to overcome those past difficulties and build some sort of momentum for itself over the second half of the season.

The new roster of Winstrike Team:

Airat “Silent” Gaziev (Carry)
Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin (Mid)
Alexey “nongrata” Vasilyev (Offlane) (Captain)
Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara (Support)
Dino “dnz” Šavuk (Support)
Maria “Inverno” Gunina (Manager)
Sergey “AnahRoniX” Bykovsky (Manager)
