Newbee announce 2 roster additions

The Chinese organization is once again looking to make changes to its  lineup as the squad prepares for another attempt at reaching the Pro Circuit stage

The pre-Pro Circuit qualifier roster shuffle has been underway for the past week or so, and today we’re seeing another Chinese team make changes to its roster in preparation for said qualifiers. After moving Support and team captain Zeng “Faith” Hongda to the roster of Mr. Game Boy back in February, Newbee has announced its new roster for the foreseeable future. First off, the team will be parting ways with Thiay “JT-” Jun Wen, who now ostensibly returns to an inactive role in the Mineski organization after being loaned to Newbee by the team back in January. Replacing him at the Offlane position will be Wen “awen” Lipeng, who has been called up to the main Newbee roster following stints with the organizations various youth and development squads. Also joining the lineup will be veteran Support Wang “SanSheng” Zhaohui, who returns to the organization that he helped win TI4 after spending the last 2 years or so as a coach for Newbee and Team Serenity. Newbee’s season has not gone according to plan so far, but the addition of a young talented player in awen and an experienced veteran in SanSheng will hopefully help this team turn things around and get back into a competitive position within the Chinese region.

The roster of Newbee following the addition of awen and SanSheng:

Xu “Moogy” Han (Carry)
Song “Sccc” Chun (Mid)
Wen “awen” Lipeng (Offlane)
Yan “Waixi” Chao (Support)
Wang “SanSheng” Zhaohui (Support)
Wang “Banana” Jiao (Coach)
Gao “GX” Shunxing (Manager)
