The Peruvian squad is picking up a new Support in preparation for the Minor qualifier
After coming up short with a 4th place finish in the recent MDL Disneyland Paris Major South America Closed Qualifier, Thunder Predator now has its sights set on the upcoming Minor qualifier. Before the squad enters that qualifier though, it will be making a change to its roster, with Farith “Matthew” Puente leaving the roster while Elvis “Scofield” De la Cruz Peña comes over from the lineup of Demolition Boys to take his place.
The move for Scofield marks a return to the organization that the Support player began the 2018-2019 season with, as he had been a member of Thunder Predator from April of 2018 through the end of September. During his previous stint with the team, Scofield helped Thunder Predator earn 4 Top 4 finishes in Pro Circuit qualifiers, as well as a 3rd place finish in Liga Pro Gaming Season 2. With Scofield back in the lineup, Thunder Predator is hoping to continue its strong play within its home region and potentially earn itself another appearance on the Pro Circuit stage. The team will be in action in the OGA Dota PIT 2019 Minor South America Qualifier beginning April 3.
