SanSheng steps down from Newbee lineup

The TI4 winner is taking a break from the professional scene and entering a hiatus/semi-retirement

Once again, the roster of Chinese organization Newbee is set to undergo a change in this 2018-2019 season, as the squad announced another change to its lineup today. Following a period of around 1 month with the squad, Support player and TI4 Champion Wang “SanSheng” Zhaohui will be stepping down from the Newbee roster. SanSheng played with the squad through its runs through the recent Major and Minor qualifiers, though Newbee failed to qualify for either event with a 5th-6th place finish in the former and a 3rd place finish in the latter. Though SanSheng will no longer be active for Newbee, the organization has not announced an official replacement for him in the lineup. With the final round of Pro Circuit qualifiers set to begin in May, we will almost certainly see the squad introduce its new member some time before then as the team continues to search for a chance to make its season debut on the Pro Circuit stage.

The roster of Newbee following the departure of SanSheng:

Xu “Moogy” Han (Carry)
Song “Sccc” Chun (Mid)
Wen “awen” Lipeng (Offlane)
Yan “Waixi” Chao (Support)
Wang “Banana” Jiao (Coach)
Gao “GX” Shunxing (Manager)
