TEAM TEAM removes Gunnar, Newsham from lineup

The North American squad has made big changes to its roster just 2 weeks before its appearance at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major

Some shocking news has come out of the North American region today, as Major bound squad TEAM TEAM appears to be making some big changes to its roster. Just 2 weeks out from an appearance on the Pro Circuit stage at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major, TEAM TEAM is parting ways with a pair players as Nico “Gunnar” Lopez and Jason  “Newsham” Newsham have reportedly been kicked from the team. The move comes just 2 days after the conclusion of the team’s run at ESL One Mumbai 2019, in which TEAM TEAM finished in the 5th-6th place position. The departure of 2 players from the team’s lineup incurs a reduction to the team’s current Pro Circuit Point total, dropping the team from 40 points to just 25.6. As of right now, the team has not announced any replacements for its outgoing players, and it should also be noted that none of the team’s other players have made any comment regarding the reported kicking of Gunnar and Newsham. However, if the team does not register new players before it begins its run at the Major, then the team would also incur a penalty to any Pro Circuit Points earned at that event as well.

The roster of TEAM TEAM following the departure of Gunnar and Newsham:

Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao (Carry)
Braxton “Brax” Paulson (Offlane)
Michael “ixmike88” Ghannam (Support, Captain)
