The Southeast Asian squad finds itself in need of new talent with the departure of two of its players
Southeast Asian team Tigers has announced some big changes to its roster today, as the team is set to part ways with a duo of players. Midlaner Danil “Dendi” Ishutin and Support Kenny “Xepher” Deo have left the team and will no longer be a part of the Tigers roster. This change does not come as a completely unexpected surprise though, as Tigers had just concluded a run in the Betway Asian Dota 2 League in which the team played with stand-ins for both of the now departing players. The move brings the active lineup for Tigers down to just 3 players, with the fifth and final round of Pro Circuit qualifiers set to get underway next month. As part of the team’s statement regarding Dendi and Xepher’s departure, Tigers emphasized that its focus over the final months of the season will revolve around rebuilding its roster to compete both in those final Pro Circuit qualifiers and the subsequent TI9 Qualifiers.
The roster of Tigers following the departures of Dendi and Xepher:
Trịnh “458” Văn Thọ (Carry)
Kim “Velo” Tae-sung (Offlane)
Sivatheeban “1437” Sivanathapillai (Support, Captain)
