The North American squad will be playing with an altered lineup as it prepares to take the stage at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major
North American squad compLexity Gaming has announced that it is making a change to its roster today, as the organization is set to part ways with Offlaner Yang “Deth” Wu Heng. In his place, the team has announced that Jaron “monkeys-forever” Clinton will be joining the team as a trial player and will take over the Offlane position for the team in its upcoming run at the MDL Disneyland Paris Major. Whether he retains that position at the conclusion of the event remains to be seen.
Deth came over to the roster of compLexity Gaming back in November as part of a rather significant roster shift for the organization. Joining the team alongside fellow Southeast Asian players Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen and Adam “Adam” Shah, Deth’s 5 month stint with compLexity Gaming was one of both controversy and a fair bit of success within the North American region. Amid the debates regarding the living arrangements and regional status of himself and his teammates, Deth helped lead compLexity Gaming to a stretch of 12 Top 4 finishes across 15 total appearances. With his departure from the roster, Deth is reportedly set to return to the Southeast Asian region, where he will no doubt attract a fair bit of interest and attention from teams looking to put together a run over the final months of the Pro Circuit season.
The roster of compLexity Gaming following the departure of Deth:
Galvin “Meracle” Kang Jian Wen (Carry)
Linus “Limmp” Blomdin (Mid)
Jaron “monkeys-forever” Clinton (Offlane)
Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman (Support)
Adam “Adam” a.k.a “343” Shah (Support, Captain)
Murielle “Kips” Huisman (Coach)
Kyle “Beef” Bautista (General Manager)
