The North American squad has revealed that it is making changes to its roster in preparation for the upcoming TI9 Qualifiers
The first of the pre-TI Qualifier roster changes has officially arrived in the Dota 2 world, as squads from across the game’s 6 regions will likely begin making their final tweaks and changes in the hopes of maximizing their odds of finding success in said qualifiers and earning a place in Shanghai for TI9. North American squad beastcoast has kicked things off today with the announcement that the organization will be making some changes to its roster, beginning with the removal of Carry Jacky “EternaLEnVy” Mao and Support Timothy “tmt” Ong from the team. The organization stated that it will be making an official announcement of its final roster in the near future, but for now the squad will be playing with a pair of stand-ins for its run in WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Dire America. Ravindu “Ritsu” Kodippili will be temporarily be playing the Carry role for the squad, while Kartik “Kitrak” Rathi will hold down the Support position for the team for the duration of the event.
