The Southeast Asian squad has finalized its TI9 Qualifier roster with the transfer of Nikobaby from WarriorsGaming.Unity
Less than a week after announcing the departure of Lai “Ahjit” Jay Son from its lineup, Southeast Asian organization Mineski has revealed just what its roster will look like as the squad prepares for a run through the TI9 Qualifiers. The organization’s most recent announcement confirmed the finalization of its lineup for said qualifiers, with Mineski bringing over Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov from WarriorsGaming.Unity as its new Carry player.
As previously mentioned, Nikobaby comes to the Mineski roster after having been a member of WarriorsGaming.Unity since the beginning of 2019. Prior to that, the Bulgarian Carry had spent the first few months of the 2018-2019 season on the roster of Clutch Gamers. With this transition to the Mineski organization, Nikobaby keeps himself in the Southeast Asian region, having made the move from Europe to SEA prior to the start of this season. While Nikobaby has never been able to find success for himself in what we would consider a major event, he has shown flashes of skill and potential both in Europe and Southeast Asia, and Mineski will be looking to take advantage of both of those factors as it integrates Nikobaby into its new lineup. The TI9 Regional Qualifier are set to begin July 8th.
The roster of Mineski following the addition of Nikobaby:
Nikolay “Nikobaby” Nikolov (Carry)
Kam “Moon” Boon Seng (Mid)
Damien “kpii” Chok (Offlane)
Ryan “Bimbo” Jay Qui (Support)
Michael “ninjaboogie” Ross Jr. (Support, Captain)
Zak “DashOCE” Holman (Manager)
