The squad formerly known as Infamous will continue to compete in the South American region with an updated roster
Following an abysmal performance in the recent EPICENTER Major, South American organization Infamous decided to part ways with its roster, ostensibly releasing its former players to free agency. However, the majority of that lineup has decided to remain together for at least a little while longer, as four the team’s former players have formed a new squad named Team Ham and have received a direct invite to the Main Regional Qualifiers for TI9. The quarter of Oliver “oliver” Lepko, Mikki Mørch “HesteJoe-Rotten” Junget, Malthe “Biver” Winther, and Mariano “Papita” Caneda will form the core of the Team Ham lineup, with former Midlaner Dominik “Black^” Reitmeier being replaced by Bulgarian player Ivaylo “Mastermind” Petkov. Though the squad was unable to find much success on the international level while playing under the Infamous banner, this roster was able to put together some impressive performances against other South American teams. With Mastermind now in the lineup, Team Ham will be hoping to reclaim that regional momentum as the squad hopes to lay claim to the lone South American slot at TI9, as the Main Regional Qualifiers for the event are set to begin on July 7.
