KheZu looking for new squad, open to region swap

After a last place finish at TI9, the Chaos Esports Club Offlaner is on the lookout for new opportunities heading into the next season

Maruice “KheZu” Gutmann looks to be a player that could be on the move in the coming days, as the TI9 participants and Offlaner for Chaos Esports Club has announced that he is looking for a new team for the 2019-2020 season. The announcement came via a tweet from KheZu’s Twitter account, with his departure from the Chaos Esports Club roster not officially confirmed by the organization itself. In his tweet, KheZu stated that he is open to playing in any region, though there is likely going to be a preference from the Offlaner to remain in the European region in which he has spent the entirety of his career to this point.

KheZu has spent most of his career as something of a journeyman, having seen action with a bevy of teams since beginning coming into the professional scene back in 2015. He has been a member of 11 squads or organizations over that time period, with some of his most notable stints coming with organization’s like Escape Gaming, Team Secret, Vega Squadron, and the most recent Chaos Esports Club. He has participated in 3 TIs, 1 Major, and 1 Minor in his career, though he has not reached higher than the 5th-6th place position across those appearances. However, KheZu has built up quite a bit of international experience over the past few years, which could make him a potential asset for a squad looking to put together a new roster, or an existing team that is looking for a relatively consistent presence at the Offlane position.

The roster of Chaos Esports Club following KheZu’s departure:

Cheng “vtFαded” Jia Hao (Carry)
Lasse Aukusti “MATUMBAMAN” Urpalainen (Mid)
Milan “MiLAN” Kozomara (Support)
Rasmus “MISERY” Filipsen (Support, Captain)
Alexei “j4” Lipai (Coach)
Robson “TeaGuvnor” Merritt (Manager)
