Infamous to part ways with roster, players to remain together

After a surprisingly strong showing at TI9, the South American squad is looking for a new organization for the 2019-2020 season

Infamous did not come into TI9 with particularly high expectations, as many has the lone South American representative in Shanghai slated to finish at the bottom of the event standings. However, the squad managed to push far beyond those meager expectations, fighting its way up the standings to claim a 7th-8th place finish on the Dota 2 world’s biggest stage. That performance certainly has the appearance of a landmark event in the development of the South American region, but it appears that Infamous will not be carrying on in its current form, as the organization has parted ways with its roster. While the former players will continue to play as a team heading into the upcoming season, they will do so under the banner of a different organization. While the team will be parting ways with its TI9 roster, Infamous has not made any statement regarding the signing of a new lineup for the 2019-2020 season.

The now former roster of Infamous:

Hector Antonio “K1” Rodriguez (Carry)
Jean Pierre “Chris Luck” Gonzales (Mid)
Adrian “Wisper” Cespedes Dobles (Offlane)
Elvis “Scofield” De la Cruz Peña (Support)
Steven “StingeR” Vargas (Support, Captain)
