The CIS organization is looking to start fresh for the 2019-2020 season as it parts ways with its previous lineup
CIS squad Team Unique has announced that it is parting ways with the entirety of its current Dota 2 roster. The organization had signed the roster of Uvajenie.Hope back at the start of July, following the roster’s departure from the Black Hornets Gaming organization, but the results from the squad had not been particularly impressive. The team notched a pair of 3rd-4th place finishes in the 2 TI9 CIS Open Qualifiers, as well as a 5th place finish in LOOT.BET/DOTA in August. While the organization is now without a roster in the middle of the offsesaon period, Team Unique’s announcement stated that it will be rebuilding its roster and remaining within the Dota 2 scene. As for the former members of Team Unique, they have all been released to free agency, and as of right now it is unknown whether they will carry on together as a squad, or go their separate ways in order to pursue other opportunities for the upcoming 2019-2020 season.
The now former roster of Team Unique:
Nikita “Palantimos” Grinkevich (Carry)
Yaroslav “Pikachu” Vasilenko (Mid)
Yevgeny “chshrct” Kostroma (Offlane)
Danil “Bignum” Shehovtsov (Support)
Vladislav “BLACKARXANGEL” Ivaschenko (Support, Captain)
