The Swedish squad will play under the GODSENT banner, as the CS:GO organization enters the Dota 2 world.
A merger between a pair of Swedish based organizations has led to some changes within the Dota 2 world, as The Final Tribe has merged with GODSENT. As part of the merger, the Dota 2 roster of The Final Tribe will now play under the GODSENT name in the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Though the team itself will be playing under a different banner this season, the squad did not announce any changes to its roster as part of the merging of the 2 organizations. This move marks the GODSENT organization’s first foray into the Dota 2 world, and the first major move from the organization in general since the dissolution of its CS:GO branch in June of 2018. While The Final Tribe never quite managed to break out into that coveted Tier 1 territory within the European region last season, another year of experience together as a roster and the chance for a fresh start under a new name could potential give the squad new life as it looks to earn itself a place among the top squads in its region in the 2019-2020 Pro Circuit campaign.
