Team Aster add Fade, announce full roster for 2019-2020 season

The Chinese organization has revealed its full lineup for the upcoming Pro Circuit season following the additions of Sccc and Fade

Team Aster has certainly been busy so far in this offseason roster shuffle, as the Chinese squad has made its second high-profile addition to the roster in preparation for the 2019-2020 Pro Circuit campaign. After signing Song “Sccc” Chun at the beginning of the month, Team Aster has also finalized the acquisition of Support and former Vici Gaming member Pan “Fade” Yi. Sccc and Fade have both been slotted into the active roster for Team Aster, which meant that the organization also had to let some of its previous roster go in order to create space for its new additions. To that end, former Carry Liu “Kamma” Chang and veteran Support Fu “Q” Bin have been released from the Team Aster lineup.

Team Aster came out of the gates last season looking like a team on a mission within the Chinese region, as the squad immediately turned heads with some impressive play that earned it spots at each of the season’s first 2 Majors. Unfortunately, the squad fell short on the international level, and across the second half of the season the team effectively dropped back into a Tier 2 position within its home region. With the addition of a pair of well-known players with significant international experience in the form of Sccc and Fade, Team Aster will hope to replicate its previous strong start in this 2019-2020 season, and maintain that initial momentum through the heart of the campaign.
