The CIS organization brings back one of its founding members as Iceberg is set for another campaign with Winstrike Team
Nearly a month ago, Winstrike Team announced that Carry Airat “Silent” Gaziev would no longer be a part of the team’s active roster, leaving the squad with a vacancy within its lineup as it headed into the offseason. Today, the organization announced that it has acquired a new player to complete its roster, and that new player happens to be a fairly familiar face for Winstrike Team, as Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasylenko makes his return to the organization. Iceberg was a member of the original FlyToMoon roster that became Winstrike Team back in 2018. Now, one of the team’s founding members has returned to the organization as Winstrike Team looks to elevate itself to a position as an elite squad in the CIS region.
As previously mentioned, Iceberg was a member of the original Winstrike Team roster back in 2018, helping the squad earn itself a place at TI8 and a 9th-12th place finish at the event itself. He began the 2018-2019 season on the team’s roster, but parted ways with the organization in March as part of a massive roster overhaul for the squad. Since then, Iceberg’s time on the Pro Circuit had been split between a reformed FlyToMoon roster and The Pango, though Iceberg was unable to find consistent success with either squad. With this return to Winstrike Team, Iceberg will no doubt be hoping to recapture the incredible momentum that he was able to build up with that initial FlyToMoon/Winstrike Team run.
The roster of Winstrike Team following the addition of Iceberg:

Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasylenko (Mid)
