The Southeast Asian organization unveiled its new lineup for the upcoming season, welcoming a quartet of new players
Southeast Asian organization Geek Fam revealed its new roster for the 2019-2020 season, with the squad set to experience some dramatic changes to its lineup. Of the roster that participated in the TI9 Open Qualifiers, only two members will be a part of the new iteration of the team’s lineup. Marc Polo Luis “Raven” Fausto remains with the team as its Carry, while Support Kenny “Xepher” Deo rejoins the squad after briefly leaving at the end of August. Joining that duo will be Midlaner Eric “Ryoya” Dong, Offlaner Carlo “Kuku” Palad, and Support Kim “DuBu” Doo-young.
Geek Fam has never quite been able to push itself into the upper tier of the Southeast Asian hierarchy in years past, with the squad often finding itself drifting between the Tier 2 and Tier 3 scenes. However, this new roster has quite a bit of experience under its belt, both within the Southeast Asian region and on the international level, and the hope has to be that this version of Geek Fam will be able to break through where others before it have fallen short.
