Wind and Rain confirm new roster for 2019-2020 season

The European organization has put together a new squad built around veteran Offlaner Buugi

After registering its updated roster a few days back, European organization Wind and Rain has officially introduced its new lineup for the 2019-2020 season. Of the team’s TI9 Qualifier roster, only veteran Offlaner Joni “Buugi” Fält remains with the organization, with a quartet of new players joining up for the new season. Carry Dimitry “Nefrit” Tarasich comes over from the roster of PRIES Gaming, Midlaner Nairman “Hannah” Zhakitzhanov transfers from Se7en eSports, and the free agent Support duo of Niclas “Niqua” Westergård and Vladimir “yol” Basov round out the team’s roster.

The team’s new roster has already earned itself a chance to display its strength within the European region, as the squad successfully fought its way through the ESL One Hamburg 2019 Europe Open Qualifier. That performance earned the squad a place in the main regional qualifier to begin on September 27, where it will face a mixed European and CIS field for a shot at a spot at the ESL One Hamburg 2019 itself in October.
