The CIS organization announced that the Moldavian player will serve as a temporary player in the squad’s first Pro Circuit Qualifier run
The final member of VP’s Pro Circuit Qualifier roster has been revealed, as the CIS powerhouse announced its full lineup for the season’s first Major/Minor qualifier. Joining the squad for its qualifier run will be Moldavian player Vitalie “Save-” Melnik, who joins VP as a stand-in at the Support position.
To this point in his career, Save-‘s experience has mostly come with lower tier squads in various open qualifiers. His most prominent stint prior to this run with VP came at the end of the 2018-2019 season, when he played as a member of the FlyToMoon roster for a period of just over a month. While finding only scattered success in those previous appearances, Save- has displayed enough potential to warrant some interest from VP, with the Moldavian Support getting his first real opportunity to shine on the roster of a premier organization in the CIS region.
Beyond this first round of qualifiers, it is unclear what plans VP has in store for its roster, though the possibility of retaining both Save- and fellow stand-in/trial player Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko has to at least be in consideration for the squad. Regardless of the team’s future roster plans though, the squad and its current lineup will be busy preparing itself for the first Pro Circuit Qualifier of the season, with said qualifier set to begin on October 5.
