343 joins Alpha X Hashtag, WinteR to shift into coaching role

The Southeast Asian squad has added another veteran presence to its roster with the addition of 343

Alpha X Hashtag, the joint team of the Hashtag E-sports and Alpha Pro Team organizations, has announced that it will be making a change to its Dota 2 roster. The team has revealed that it has acquired veteran Support Adam Erwann Shah “343” bin Akhtar Hussein, who will be taking over the role of Captain for the squad as well. WIth the addition of 343 to the lineup, Alpha X Hashtag will be shifting previous captain Chan “WinteR” Litt Binn out of the active lineup and into a coaching role with the squad.

343 comes to Alphas Hasghtag as one of the more experienced names in the scene, having played at a professional level since late 2013. He has seen experience across a variety of regions in the Dota 2 world, including China, Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. He has served as both a player and a coach over the course of his career, giving him further insight into the game that should come as a valuable asset for the recently formed Alpha X Hashtag squad. With his addition to the roster and WinteR’s move to a coaching position, the team appears to be in a stronger position to continue its quest to carve out a place for itself in the Southeast Asian regional hierarchy.
